This is an old project that I never got around to fully finishing or documenting. The bass amp is sitting in storage right now after my cross-country move in '08, but I hope to revist the project in the relatively near future.

If I didnt give you the whole run-down already...I gutted my bass amp and built it into this old Philco radio cabinet...In that hole up top, there is an oscilloscope, which is hooked into the output of the amp, so with every note I play, a rippling, multithreaded Sine wave is displayed on the scope.

Enjoy.

Update: I am now considering making this a much more complex, but way cooler project by creating a custom circuit for the oscilloscope CRT. It will have a clock displayed on the screen by default, then another mode for the scope functions, another for some 'visualizations' a la winamp, and while im at it...a guitar tuner mode...more to come....i have to research CPLDs and see which one I want to go with...im leaning toward either a BasicX stamp or a Xilinx XC95000 family chip, but i'm not certain yet.
