Here's a wristband I made with the old-school Ford V8 logo. This is my first attempt at any kind of decorative leatherwork or embroidery so it's little rough, but I think it came out pretty good. I ended up having to build a new foot for my sewing machine for the intricate flame embroidery, and it worked pretty well.

   The band is made up of about 4 layers of thin leather with a suede backing. Directly behind the emblem is a round piece of heavier leather to keep it flat, otherwise the corners of the 'V' would stick up and snag on everything. The V8 emblem itself is recessed into the first layer of leather and then borderstitched.
